Review of Sword Art Online

An anime full of controversy, that is SAO, yet i enjoyed every second of it. Some parts were slow, and sure some aspect of the game was underdeveloped. A lot of people hate SAO because of it's too popular, or because of they don't like the fact they added romance into the story, or they get mad because of you don't see Kirito grind in-game. Just because it's popular, don't hate until you watch it free of that mind set. It's ok to start watching as a sceptic, but don't let it ruin your enjoyment. I feel the romance fits with the story, due tothe circumstances that the scene is set. People forget Kirito and Asuna get together in the first one in a LIFE OR DEATH GAME. They both understood they could die at any given moment, and because of that they fell in love. There's nothing wrong with that, if anything it's more realistic. Now the grinding, let's face it, if everyone was watching Kirito grind and grind doing fetch quests or something that doesn't advance the plot, everyone would have an issue with that XD. Just ignore the haters, give SAO a chance and enjoy your time watching it. For me i enjoyed the story, there wasn't much filler. The only thing it's missing is character development some of the main cast. The Alfheim arc was slow at start, but when it picks up pace, the fighting is good.
When watching any of the SAO people expect as they would irl, whether that role playing, full of it, narcissist, cruel or even creeping on others. Give SAO a chance, ignore the controversy and enjoy the anime
