The Silver Wheat Field · review
A story about friendship and many different types of relationships. A world with a super interesting magic system that the story could keep going for more volumes and it still would be great. The main characters, Mei and Bell, are great companions who learn lots with each other and with everyone around them. A very good story that makes us waiting for more. The art style is beautiful and every character design is unique and interesting. Their outfits are great. The art complements the story well. Only sometimes it's a bit difficult to differenciate some characters from each other but nothing too jarring. I think everyonewho wants to enjoy a witchy story with found family elements will like this manga a lot. Ah, this story has no romance in it (from the main cast at least) and it's perfect this way.
My only problem it's that I wanted more of it, the story left many questions in my mind but nothing that can be bad for the reading experience. It's still enjoyable and a great series.
In conclusion it's an enjoyable short series with mystery and people helping (and not helping sometimes) each other, learning and developing relationships and their own self with magic and friendship. The caracters start thinking on themselves and their own friends but end up connected to each other.
Thank you for reading my review. Don't be afraid of reading this manga, let's spread the word about Gin no Mugibatake around.
Happy reading!
