Kazuma and Haruka's Life · review
I’m not going to lie — this completely exceeded my expectations. At first, I assumed it would just be another cliché story about childhood friends reuniting and falling for each other, but I was completely wrong. While it starts off a bit cliche, the series quickly shifts focus toward themes of gender identity. I’ve always been uninterested in stories that explore gender identity, but the way this one approaches it is especially unique. It’s about someone who’s forced to change due to life’s circumstances and learns to adapt in order to find a place to belong — a home, and friends who truly understand them.Life is full of surprises, and this series captures that beautifully by blending cliche elements with genuine realism.
Overall I really enjoyed the series, it covers heavy topic that one may struggle to talk to others about and the importance of communcating with one another, without proper communication it could lead to serious misunderstanding and could easily leads ones life to fall apart.
