Cherry Boy, That Girl · review
Warning: this manhwa isn't school fluff. It's full of conflicts, twists, drama, and messed up people, proceed with caution. Story: I binged it in one go since I was afraid of forgetting the details with so many things happening each chapter. The ride was tough but I didn't even wink away after the first 10 introductory chapters; I was so invested in the drama and thriller (the thriller isn'tanything spooky it just the drama was really thrilling and the unfolding was unexpectedand sometimes ridiculous). The ending was satisfying for some characters and wasn't for others. Characters: Only one character is sane and acts like a normal human being. The others areeither delusional, sick, broken, or just messed up. Some change to the better other change to the worst. I can't say they were written well but I think I enjoyed them making me so frustrated. They didn't make me feel pity, at least most of them didn't. I was really pleased with that.
Enjoyment:
The whole ride I felt frustrated, furious, pitty, and rarely laughed so hard my gums hurt.
At times I got tired from the shock each chapter of ridiculous revelation.
Because it's been a while since I last read something with so much drama and secrets I actually enjoyed all these feelings. Just know it's a heavy read.
Overall:
It was a good thrilling read; wouldn't reread it but happy I did.
