The story is about a pair of "best friend" entering the University of Defense Corps together and the ensuing events regarding their school life. First, this manga fulfills the informative aspect when it comes to reading - it gives basic insight into the military uni and the daily activities of their students feels relevant than just being there for show. Secondly, the main characters are adorable and hilarious for sure, partly thanks to the various facial expressions so classic of this mangaka. The senpai couple is equally wholesome with a slightly more mature but still playful vibe. Their relationship is meaningful on their own -how the senpai slightly hesitates but then admits his lover is a man in marine, and how he chose the grounded forces to stay on land and wait for his man to return from dangerous missions on the sea. It's so smooth how the author pulls off these kinds of romantic nuances.

Third, the joy of reading something so enjoyable and refreshing is fortunately not cut short as there is another sequel, going strong with similar vibe and introduction to some amusing new characters whose presence isn't too overbearing.

It's a relief to wake up every morning knowing there are such funny manga out there, ready to be discovered.
