I loved that we saw more sides to every character. I hate when a series focuses on only one character. Thankfully, the Hanako series is the opposite of that. The suspense and fights were great. However, I feel neutral towards romance in the Hanako series because all of the canon ships are actually toxic to an extent. This series has two yanderes so far: Hanako and Aoi Akane. Yanderes aren't the healthiest partners when it comes to romantic relationships, anyway. Still really enjoyable to watch their intriguing, toxic romantic relationship dynamics. I shipped Nene and Kou from the start. They are still the healthiest ship in the entire series. They are also characters I love individually as well. This season ended on a cliffhanger; I'm looking forward to the next season.
