As someone who hates reading and yet has read all the existing volumes, I had fun reading it. I've been dying to know how the story continues, especially since there are no plans to continue the anime. So, I decided to dive into the light novel. This is your typical short romance anime story, mixed with some journey and growth. I'm glad I read it, because the anime left out a lot of details and backstories unexplained. What surprised me was how they slightly altered the storyin the anime, especially the ending. It was fun discovering all the foreshadowing and the parts the anime never explained. I love the drama. I love the plot. I love all the characters and their development. The entire story connects beautifully.

However, the light novel ending left me questioning things. There's been no official explanation for what really happened at the end of Volume 5. I haven’t read the spin-off yet, but I’m guessing it might shed some light on the ending and those deeper, unexplained backstories.
