My Boss Is a Giant: He Manages My Every Need with Enormous Skill! · review
First, minor quibble, but the ML's tanned skin from the cover does not show AT ALL in the story. Pfft. Now the story itself has a good heart. There are moments when the heart reveals itself and I find myself awww-ing. The art is clean, the anatomy pretty good and solid. MC is a generic josei smut protagonist but she is nevertheless adorable and earnest. ML is a more rougher love interest; one I'd seen fairly more in BL, but he also fits the MC well and their contrast makes for a somewhat appealing read. It's just that sometimes the plot and even the smut feels rushed. Idon't know why, but it really feels like the story is trying to rush towards the ending.
Also not helping that instead of letting the characters interact with each other and making the narrative grow that way, the story instead throws love rivals, with one in particular being way more persistent than most. I feel this move to be rather unnecessary and ultimately only a waste of panel that can be used to let the main relationship grow and develop.
