Despite Merlin being the most powerful being in the demon and human world, he gets fired by the demon council because his powerful and destructive attacks cost the demon kingdom too much money. Merlin sets out into the human world with his enemy a holy knight named Alice Claudia who he defeated recently. Despite their differences they will have to work together to pay back their respective debts. Its an entertaining and funny Chinese anime. Merlin and Alice bicker a lot and get confused as lovers. Merlin is your typical antihero. Alice the holy warrior with honor. The episodes are pretty short. Around 14 minutes (but 5 minutesgo to the intro and outro songs)
These short lengths really hurt the pacing of the show. It take a while to get to the point. It really should have just been 30 minutes.
