I Can't Say No to the Lonely Girl · review
As a lover of yuri, this is one of the better works out there. TLDR - beautiful characters, feel good story, just the right amount of sweetness and stupidity to make it a wonderful yuri. Obviously it has it flaws. The main premise is shaky to say the least. A teacher asks the class rep to bring an absent girl to school in exchange for a letter of recommendation. The MC then goes to her house and the girl agrees in exchange for being granted "requests", first of which being a kiss. You can tell what happens from there. But that it exactly the essence of ayuri - had it been more serious, it wouldn't have been as enjoyable. The restrictions of real life don't apply in an ideal and pure setting of a slice-of-life, high-school yuri romance. While there are some elements of drama, they aren't good or impactful enough to write about.
I am thoroughly enjoying this manga and its wonderful balance of sweetness and yuri. It reminds me of Adachi to Shimamura if it was more centred on romance. All in all, do give it a read.
