Review of Recovery of an MMO Junkie

Net-Juu no Susume or "Recovery of an MMO Junkie" as the english title on some providers, is one of the better animes out there. While, the art style is cute, it doesn't do anything to particularly impress outside of the cute MMO character costumes. Where this anime shines however is the adorably awkward characters and the plot of their relationship or more accurately the tension leading up to it. Few anime can pull off a cliff-hanger without it feeling too manufactured (looking at you, toonami era DBZ) but Net-juu, finds that sweet spot of having the viewers both frustrated at wanting X to happen andcraving more.
