If this anime series was a class assignment; it would most definitely receive an A. I feel bad rating this series any less than a 10/10. It's the best program; I've watched in a while. At least up until episode 25. This series is better than the recent Dororo, Vinland Saga, and Dr.Stone (in my opinion). Usually, I limit my 10/10's to series like Gintama and Cowboy Bebop, but I absolutely cannot find anything wrong with this series. It's fantastic. I also love the protagonist (something that helps a ton). The protagonist is flawed and is aware of his flaws; thence, he acts tocompensate for them. The protagonist is also peccable [capable of sin], but acts with his heart. He is sort of like a chaotic good character from D&D. Thus I find him to be a really cool character.
The waifus in this series have souls and personalities for once, I'm happy to see that the characters aren't total slaves for the protagonist [See: a prototypical harem anime]; albeit, I guess some are literally the protagonist's slaves.
I wish I could leave the ratings for "Sound" and "Art" blank because I'm even more of an ultracrepidarian [one who is presumptuous and offers advice or opinions beyond one's sphere of knowledge] when it comes to an anime's sound and art, but with finding no egregious errors and with myself enjoying the designs + sounds of the world and characters. I figure it's best to leave them 10/10's.
Give this one a watch. This is a proper Isekai and is proper escapism for your likely boring life.
