Review of Dororo
By the end of the season, I find myself enerved with the characters in the story. What is promising throughout the journey in the warring times is questions of morality where good never seems to be an accessible option. Someone always pays a price. The weak and the strong. Those who care and the indifferent. Except perhaps the monk. But by the end, too much talk about the justification for actions is what bores me. Listening to people in power drone on about the right to make sacrifices with others life. As if it is some kind of burden of leadership. Other than that it hasa lot of promise, good overall quality of art and not too stereotyped characters. And up till the end, it held me captivated.
Thus, in conclusion, it's the mix of amoral times and moralizing monologues that don't hit the target for me. It's still Berserk as the no 1 demon-fighting superhuman swordsman for me. Guess I follow the list of recommendations to see where it takes me.
