Review of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

You'd think an anime show with a highschool setting and a hilariously overpowered main character isn't gonna be all that different from all the countless others using the same tropes, but damn, this one is a breath of fresh air. Clever, often self-referential with well thought-out humor, frequent 4th wall breaks and absolutely lovable characters and their dynamics. Very fast-paced and perfect for people with a short attention span, as each episode is divided into five mini-episodes that are easy to follow once you get used to the fast pace. The only thing I didnt find outstanding about it is the art, but that's to beexpected, it's a lighthearted comedy anime and art isn't really the main point.

Perfect if you want to watch something genuinely amusing that's clever but at the same time not too engaging.

10/10 from me, for sure.
