Review of Strike the Blood

So I come fresh, never read the LN or manga. And I usually love what I watch but I'm torn on this one. I don't know what's up with this anime. It's like trying all ind of genre and story. All 24 episode only filled with action, no interlude, no some kind of break, no character explanation, and just jamming the story with no background what so ever. All of the bad guys don't have any kind of explanation or connection to the story. They're bad because they're bad guys. The story never really move forward, just another "Ah. Bad guys show up, get new power,beat the bad guys". There is a lot of character but all of them are really shallow or background that never explained.

If you're doing something, do it right. Planning to do romance or love then don't do it half way.
