peerless animation especially with frame interpolation, well that's a given because its a madhouse production but there's more than that, the art style is beautiful, the sfx are heartstopping @flac7.1hometheater/high-end earphones, the soundtrack especially the opening, the whole soundtrack throughout the anime and the mixed symphonic melodic metal rock electronic dubstep soundtrack at the fighting scenes, yes they all magnificently synchronize to the art and animation and dramatically emphasize the "survival" feeling.(i recommend the original jap audio because its pure lossless than any dubbed versions where most/all sound from the anime are muffled and ruined by dub voices)notime to waste.this anime is a MUST WATCHif you are addicted to
-survival genre
-catchy soundtrack
-abrupt tragedy
-get stronger and protect someone you love from soulless, overpowered and blazingly agile one hit killing monsters genre
-gore with crisp flesh and bone crushing, slashing and piercing sfx
-madhouse produce anime

yes i enjoyed this anime because i love gore and survival genre but i'm weak at tragedy(please don't die i really like you, if i were him i will have protected you more) genre especially if i get attached/infatuated to a character. And shinichi's mom is so pretty so i'm kind of depressed.
