Review of Sword Art Online

A let me put it this way, SAO isn't a bad show. Their are plenty of worse anime out their and their are plenty of better ones. It deserves neither the hate nor the fanatical love it has gained. When it comes too hype trains their are no stops either your falling off the train tracks into the sea of hatred or you ride it too the top of joy mountain. At the cost of stretching this metaphor, SAO never should have been given a ticket, and their place is in relative obscurity. The animation and the action are both fairly good and their wascertainly times I was having fun but for the most part this show just kinda bored me I ended up extracting very little joy from this series but I wouldn't say every minute I watched it was living agony. It's a interesting concept but hardly a original one. It has cool characters but not complicated ones.
