This is your typical Shounen. I will list what the anime does well and what it does poorly. Nonetheless, the anime is definitely a watch for any Shounen enjoyer. What the anime does right: The general tone of the storyline is what you'd expect from an anime like this. It doesn't deviate that much from expectation. The characters are all likeable. There aren't any characters who are hated based purely on their poor design. There are characters who are disliked for their good design however, which isn't a problem. What the anime does wrong:I disagree with dozens of story elements. No spoilers, so I can't elaborate.

The animation didn't do a good job of conveying the power of some scenes. It left things to be desired. Some of the moments weren't as satisfying for that reason. That's not to say that the animation is always bad. The animation is generally good, but this was a problem I noticed in some parts of the story.

The fillers are the worst. I normally don't mind fillers when they are done sensibly, but these just rubbed my the wrong way. I had to skip them.

The best parts are the beginning of the series and the end. I wanted to keep watching during those parts. My interest waned during the middle as it just felt too drawn out.

Despite all of this, it's one of my favorite anime of any genre. It does a lot of things wrong, but it also does more things right.
