Review of Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld Part 2

*Minor Spoilers* for both parts I do have some gripes about the second part of Alicization. The first part was brilliant, felt like SAO was truly going back to the roots, Kirito facing the small to big challenges to become the best he can be to reach his goal and having Eugeo as a partner all throughout makes it even more better. Part 2 however was something else entirely, a long dragged out fight focusing on the side characters is not why I love this show, maybe would have been better if Eugeo took over the role of Kirito and lead the battle. This war lasted basicallya day, and it got bogged down by deus-ex-machina characters from the previous season, which were not properly put on to the show. AND the final fight was basically a dragon ball z fight, where the Antagonist had undefined abilities which I hated. SAO fights always came down to whoever was the better fighter or stronger will power, this time Kirito won by... I can't even explain how, he just did.

Last few eps i did enjoy, grounded the anime very well and set it up nicely for the next adaptation.
