Overall - it was enjoyable. And also unoriginal and 100% forgettable. You know how you'll watch a last episode and think "Man, I can't wait for a season 2!!!" Not here. One season is enough. What was really terrible was the translations. For example, Laust is always called "O-niisan" by Narsena. But the translation is "Laust." Same thing throughout the anime - it's off-putting. Then there's the animation. Some of it is just terrible. The perspective is often mixed up, Laust is holding a long knife, then sword, then knife, then who-knows-what - a crooked line? A stick? There's little detail anywhere and thefaces are laughable. Eyes are often just two slanted lines. It's like the animation skipped several steps to save money. Ever see the meme "$25 piece of art vs $200 piece of art." Same artist, but 5 minutes vs a few hours work? This animation stopped at a few minutes.

If you have nothing better to watch and your watch list is emptying out, maybe give it a try. But don't go out of your way to watch it.
