I have watched many Chinese movies/ donghua and same as others this as well has a strong relation to their traditions. Without a doubt this is one of the movies I would recommend for anyone without hesitation. It shows the struggle of life, poverty, bullying and also how it will give one strength to fight through it all. The characters were likable and the story was easy to follow as well. The story revolves around a boy who builds an interest towards Lion dancing and the journey of him and his friends to reach their goal. The opening of the story was slowand the story builds but steadily. The ending was the ultimate climax and the animation choices and scenes left me glued to the screen enough to replay a few times.
The music was also one of the strong points which played a major role throughout the whole film.

It was overall a simple story with a huge meaning which in my opinion is one of the best I have watched so far.
