Review of Horimiya
gosh, i just love the manga. as i watched the anime, i got the same feeling as reading the manga, just pure, wholesome enjoyment. each and every character has their own story and life going on and their own backstories that get developed as the show continues. the score is wonderful, properly captivating the audience and engaging in the current mood of the story, whether that be goofy, upbeat, romantic, sad, the music never fails to parallel that feeling. the art style is normally pretty average, they just look like your average anime characters, but its also kind of cute seeing all the different characterdesigns.
this is a 10/10 anime, if not for the final episode. theres so much that was skipped between episode 12 and 13 that it completely disoriented me. i mean, with such rich characters and such a cute story, you would think they would want to cover all the content, but apparently they just wanted a 13 episode seasonal anime. this had so much potential for a season 2, season 3, potentially even a season 4, but they just skipped multiple months of the manga storyline.
the creation of this anime at first felt like an improper anime for the horimiya manga. overall i would still recommend this anime to someone, however i would recommend the manga way more than the anime.
