Review of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

The first arc was awesome, the first five episodes were great, borderline masterpiece, very emotional even. but then it all went downhill from there. I felt like watching one piece, like it was the dressrosa arc all over again.. so many pointless fights.. seems like they just wanted to show everyone fighting everyone, no plot progression, just 15 episodes of pure fighting, more and more people keep showing up to fight, and most of the people awaken new power and new final forms during fights.. is sooo tiering.. reminded me of the alabasta fight, again in one piece, where one in world second took 2whole episodes to happen. or the final season of "how i met your mother" that spends who knows how many episodes in a single weekend, or even the naruto war arc that spent god knows how many episodes for a war that lasted less than 3 days. but somehow even the war felt more entertaining than those 15 episodes. because at least in naruto, the story was moving forward, they were learning stuff. but here, it was just one fight after the other, no time to cool down, no progression, no stakes, too many fake out deaths. the animation was pretty good though. but still. At least the over the board, annoying, out of place, obnoxious comedy from the first season is mostly absent, so that is also a plus.
