Review of Summoned to Another World for a Second Time

I have started this anime, thinking that it'll be another amazing Isekai anime. But oh my was I wrong. It was Isekai, yes, but it wasn't good at all. I would have given it only three stars, but the ending was okay, so it got another one. Okay, now let's start. First off, I knew that this was a harem anime, but oh my. There were like ZERO female characters that weren't completly sexualized. It was terrible. And even if the character was okay and not TOO bad, her look was way to revealing. I of course can't tell you what you are allowed to like,but it for sure wasn't for me.

Secondly, I was expecting cool fight scenes, but no. The fight scenes were boring and dry and always felt like they were being dragged on for no good reason. It could've ended earlier already, but no! Suddenly he gets up again for NO REASON! It was just frustrating. And the visuals in the fight were just disappointingly sad. Especially the final fight. It's the FINAL FIGHT, but it was just extermly... unepic.

Thirdly, the story. The story wasn't the worst thing. You could tell that there was a main plot line and some "side quests". That was pretty okay. Each episode had a different mini story that in the end led very well together. The problem is that in every ministory the new character would be a girl. And every girl had the weirdest reasons to like him or even to be this obsessed about him. It was sad to see.

Fourth off, the voices. Overall, pretty good. I could mostly feel the emotions, especially the scene in which those people were experimented on. That was great. But oh god. I'm used to female characters having a higher voice than male ones in anime, but this was just disgusting. I could barely listen to them.

Fifth off, his bestfriend. I feel like she could have been a cool, maybe even badass character, but she always had to be saved, her whole personality seemed to be about the main character and not killing someone. For a character this close to the main character this is just disappointing. She was like a tasteless cake. Evrything was there, but the flavour was completly gone.

And lastly, the main character. I actually like the main character. It made fun to watch him and I loved his morals. He's kind, but also determinded and strong. He was an amazing main character. Sadly was the also the only really good thing in this enemy and the only reason I gave this anime more than just two stars. So sadly he can't shine, because I was so focused on all the bad elements in this enemy. And even when he could shine, it was a pretty sad, dark flame.

The ending felt a little empty, but that is just my opinion. And the songs are extremly forgetable, which is a fact.

Overalll, I DON'T RECOMMEND IT. I feel a lot better and I'm very glad that I finally finished it.
