Review of Akira

This timeless work of art, released in 1988, helped to establish the genre of cyberpunk and dystopian sci-fi. 35 years later and I still think it's belong in the future. It explore the society instability when the technology is advancing and the human true nature of greediness, it also included some disturbing body horror scene that will definitely leave a shock for the people that time. It belong in the hall of fame of anime and science-fiction for it's influence and advanced foresight of future. Those who like ghost in the shell or Matrix should take a view on this masterpiece.
