Bakemonogatari is the anime adaptation of the work called "Monogatari Series: First Season" written by the genius writer Nisio Isin. This anime explores the extraordinary situations that our main character, Arararagi Koyomi, faces. But we don't call these situations extraordinary for nothing. Whatever this anime throws at us, we either cannot understand at first glance or we miss it due to millisecond details and very fast dialogues. Our main character, who seems really weak in the face of the situations he encounters, can unintentionally gather the whole cast around him. I will review this anime in 4 main parts: -Art *General *Character Desing*Figths
-Story
-Characters
-Directorate

Art(General):Studio Shaft is a fan favorite across the globe. They have some of the most talented people on the job. This anime looks gorgeous. The motions are fluid, the expressions are gorgeous and transmits the emotions perfectly, the backgrounds feel empty but not in a bad way, the attention to the details are insane and soo much more details to talk about. But for now theese ones are enough.
Art(Charater Desing):Aiko Watanabe or better known as "punipoyo" is an expert in drawing bandages, sukumizus and lolis. But he draws all of the mentioned things on a godly level. The characters in this anime, male or female or Shinobu look great. The art style of punipoyo is soo good it is underrated.
Art(Figths):The figths in this anime looks gorgeous. They are fluid. They can be hard to follow but the fight choreography is insanely good. The approach they took in the style is gorgeous and the characters look alive while figthing.

Story:I wont be giving details because Bakemonogatari and the sequels are a one time experience. They will make the viewer cling onto their seats just to understand stuff. But there is one problem with the story; the target demographic are Japaneese speakers. Most of the things fly over your head and it feels a little bit dissapointing.

Characters: First of all, there are a fuck ton of girls in this anime. Like there is only 6 male characters in the first season of the LN. But most of them are extremely well build characters with solid backstories. And their supernatural phenonemons are EXPLAINED perfectly.

Directorate:Akiyuki Shinbou is one of the most experienced directors out here. He ha directed over 50 series and he nailed this one. The images, the cutscenes, the dialouge, the story is handled so perfectly to the point of it functioning. Because Bakemonogatari is not an easy LN to adapt. But Akiyuki did his best job on this one and its a fan favorite.

Writing this after my second watch.
Overall: 10
