Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
Story: Ano Hana's story is brilliant. The story line has the emotional impact of Clannad/C- Afterstory and can make anybody cry. The story is so good because it has the ability to manipulate the viewers emotions every single episode. I who rarley ever crys watching anything sad bawled almost every single episode because of how sad this story was.Anybody who liked angel beats will love this story. In addition to the stories powerful themes and emotional impact, it also somehow finds a way to relate to to the viewer as an individual. Sound: The soundtrack that this anime has is another reason is whythis anime has such a powerful affect on people. The soundtrack really intensifys the sadness in every episode making the story seem twenty times more sad. The soundtrack also has songs with the intensity of Clannad's soundtrack. The sound is really what made this show bloom and it is so good I have most of the soundtrack on my eye pad.
Characters: I thought the characters in this anime were perfect for the length of the seires. All the characters were given the depth they needed and to be honest the creators did an excellent job with the character depth and development considering the fact that the series only had eleven episodes. Although Jinta and Menma appear to be the main focus of the show, the Super Peace Busters and thier relationships with Menma are the real focus of the show. This is where I can relate the anime to One Peice becuase Loofy is the main focus in the show. The mani focus is the entire crew just as the Little Peace Busters are the focus of thier show. Menma Might be in the middle but without the other characters the show simply would not work.
Overall: Ano Hana tugs at the heat strings like no other anime around with the exception of Clannad and Clannad Afterstory. Ano Hana is a very very special anime because it all can rleate to us and no matter what preferance the view has in anime, it will sneak it's way into their top twentry list. To all of those who want a powerful. and relatable story please watch this.
