Review of Haibane Renmei

This anime was very touching. Although the manga was never fully completed, it turned out to be one of the best selections ever. I really connected with the characters and understood their struggles and their bonds. As said many times before, this anime is slow and takes a bit of patience. Fret not! It gets better and better. Each episode pulls you deeper and deeper into an overwhelming urge. I will never forget how this deeply moved me. I can never cry the same anymore at any other sad anime. It's been a few years but I still watch it over and over again. Ijust want to reach out and hug every single Charcoal Feather. I want them to feel cared for and safe. I know. I sound crazy but....It's just me. I can't ever get over this anime. I look at life a bit more differently now. I guarantee your feelings-- no, your life will change. The spectacle of laughter, love, and care mixed in with struggle, sadness, and fearful trust.
