Review of High School of the Dead

Amazing watch. Even if you aren't a regular anime consumer, this one is a super fun and an entertaining ride the whole way through. Being only 12 episodes, you could easily watch this in a day. I have a hard time seeing why someone would not like this anime and all the tropes that come with it. On that note, I have re-watched this one several times by myself and with friends for it's replay value alone. The sheer brilliance of an intriguing yet simple horror story done absolutely right. The characters are cute and charming, the fan service is plentiful and the brawls are superintense. The only negative backlash I ever see this anime get is that it didn't end right... This one BEGINS in a blaze of fire with surreal problems applied to everyday life like romance and the loss of loved ones, as well as modern day fictional problems our protag faces which are much more scary. The OST is one of my personal favorites.
