Review of Sword Art Online

NOTE: CONTAINS SPOILERS THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE CURRENT WHOLE OF THE SAO FRANCHISE SAO Season 1: Pros: Good action and music and a big fan for people who like Video Games and especially MMOs. The action scenes are entertaining. Yep that's it Cons: Bad character development, by episode 3 the show acts like we already know all the characters way too well. Time skips appear way too often and as bad times. Every episode skips time as if it is Diavolo on heroin. Kirito and Asuna have a shitty relationship and Asuna is used as a plot device more than a character and is used to give thestory spice in the future. Which sucks.

SAO Season 2:

Pros: good action scenes and music and has a different take on fights.

Cons: Bad character development, even more and we are introduced to even more characters with literally no screen time. Pretty much the same thing as Season 1 but without the less time skips. Kirito is still seen as the main bad ass who is way to OP and always becomes more op when he struggles.

SAO Alicization:

Pros: Fixed character development and way more interesting characters and story plot. And has a way more interesting objective. I like how there
are two main characters. I also like how Asuna is barely in it because her character portrays the damsel in distress. Similar to SAO S1 and S2 has awesome action scenes and music. And cliffhangers ect. But every other anime has that so yh. It isnt repetitive like SAO as they have a good objective. I loved the idea that it is more like a simulation than a videogame. And I like the ending.

Cons: Still have time skips however they are way less frequent. They killed of Eugeo which sucks because he was the only interesting character in the entire anime. And Administrators backstory had no inspiration at all.

SAO Alicization War of The Underworld:

Pros: good action and storyline but it just continues of SAO Alicization, I really liked how Kirito wasn't the main character and had barely any screen time and had a Female protagonist. Music was good as always.

Cons: This series drags on wayyy too much and the ending is super shit. The actual fight finishes about 4 episodes before the ending, which means that we are left with stupid stupid stupid boring elements.

Overall I enjoyed the Alicization arc way more than the original season q and 2.

SAO is good but isn't as good as the fans say it is. However it isn't as bad as the haters say it is. It is just in the middle
