Review of Fairy Tail

A complex yet light-hearted fantasy anime series with well-fleshed out characters. The leads, Natsu, Lucy and Happy carry the bulk of the storyline with multiple interactions with the inner group of Erza Scarlett, Grey-sama and Wendy. The exceed storyline was utterly adorable, as were all the origin stories of the leaders of Fairy Tail. We utterly enjoyed watching this over what must've been a year or so, and heartily recommend it to anyone with a sense of humour and a love for anime. The games between the guilds were a highlight too, as each team has interesting leaders and members, even the ridiculous teams like BluePegasus and Mermaid Heel. The author of the series shows imaginativeness in drawing from multiple sources of mythology (e.g. the Zodiac, and Norse mythology's Yggdrasil, which got renamed Tenroujima)
