Review of Katanagatari

I found the 2 main characters to be rather boring starting out. The female MC's rather overtly talkative nature is very annoying, especially at the start of the show. anyhow the story about gathering katanas is interesting with the foes the MCs have to encounter to get the katanas being quite interesting. indeed the backstories and personalities of many of the villains I found to be much more interesting than the MCs. The ending of the story though could be better. it seems to try to progress the character of the MC in a rather forced and uncalled for way.
