Review of Ghost Stories

Semi-short and simple review. This is the first review I've done, and it will be on the infamous Ghost Stories dub. Overall, it was a great watch! There were quite a lot of jokes that made me laugh because of the absurdity of some of them, and there were common jokes that carried over into most of the series, which was great as well. My second least favorite jokes probably involve celebrities or people that are currently irrelevant, especially since my only knowledge of pop culture comes from cartoons/shows and not exactly people. My least favorite jokes were the ones where a certain slur was used andwhere they would just say gibberish whenever they saw Kanji. Hajime's VA was usually the one initiating this type of joke, which only furthers in dating the show.

Despite my disdain, the good jokes far outweigh the bad ones so it was still a series I enjoyed watching in its entirety. However, the last three episodes (minus the last one) made no sense whatsoever, even for the VAs, because the ghost appears and they magically figure out how to defeat it without giving the audience any knowledge on how they knew how to to this. It feels rushed and not as enjoyable as the rest of the series.

My favorite character has to be Momoko. Have you accepted Jesus as your lord and saviour?
