Review of Future Boy Conan

This series has a special place in my heart because it was one of the first anime series I've ever watched when I was a kid ,it's considered a classic in the Arab world and get broadcasted regularly on tv channels for more than three decades heck even my father had watched it when he was a teenager it's one of the most well known anime title in my country if you ask anyone in the street he would recognize it instantly, if you consider yourself an anime fan you should watch this series because it's been directed by the great myazaki. if you watch thisanime you will notice that it began all myazaki regular tropes
such as the environmental theme ,the amazing flying machines the character design this series came before the foundation of studio ghibli and you will notice that it served as prototype of the first ghibli movie castle in the sky.
the setting :
Set in a post-apocalyptic world after the third world war ended and the humanity along with the most known world has been destroyed and most earth land mass had drowned under water and the rest of the land is mostly waste deserted land with few exceptions. You have industria which is a power full nation that inherited some of the remaining technology of the war and it's trying to hold more power and resources.
plot:
The core of the plot is the story of boy meets a girl then the girl get kidnapped by industria soldiers and the boy began a quest to find her along the way he will meet many interesting and funny people who would help him .
characters:
A colourful and likable cast of character we have conan (adnan in the arabic dub) the hot headed boy who possess inhuman strength his feats are awesome like lefting a group of men who jumped on him or climbing a huge tower using only his pare hands and feet you have also the redhead primative boy and the hilarious captain (bardon me i don't know their name in japanese)the chemistry between the character is top notch you will laugh so much on Conan and his friends during their adventure the show has some of the funniest moments I've ever seen in anime the trio of Conan ,the bushy redhead,and of course the captain will make you laugh whenever they're on the screen but the cast isn't perfect for example Lana is the only character that I found annoying she is more of plot device to move the plot forward rather than an actual character also the main villain while being evil and serving the purpose for being the villain is one dimensional Bastard who is just pure evil and ruthless something rare in myazaki works the only other character like him in other myazaki films is muska from castle in the sky.
art and animation :
It's outdated but you shouldn't let that prevent you from watching it also the art work is very similar to studio ghibli work you know those bushy moustache.
soundtrack :

A great shonen adventure that has environmental theme it's basically 26 episode studio ghibli movie the fans of myazaki should watch this.
