There's only one thing I regret about watching Hunter x Hunter. It's the fact that I did this so late. Let's start with the flaws first. There were a few tiny ones I didn't like, so I'll just point them out asap. First of all- there are one or two soundtracks that were played really often in the beginning and were pretty disruptive. I couldn't focus on the dialogue, it was just so weird sometimes. It got better in later seasons though, I don't think I had that problem in Yorknew City arc and later. Second of all- the Chimera Ant arc had a lot of"tell don't show" moments, which I heavily dislike.

When it comes to positive sides of the show- it's literally everything else. I did mention that a few soundtracks didn't quite do it for me. It's true, but what I didn't mention is that literally every single other soundtrack was literally perfect. Some of them carried so many emotions with them. Pledge and Restriction, Riot, Kage, Kingdom of Predators were some of my favourites. Such a great enchancement to scenes they were used in.

Visually there's nothing to improve. It's perfect. The story is fun and the entirity of HxH has a wholesome feel to it. I searched a lot and I haven't found a single anime that would satisfy me as much in the long run. HxH is just a perfect mix of everything and I like to get back to it from time to time.

A thing I also liked a lot are intros, and even more outros. These are so iconic for HxH. The narrator at the end of each episode slowly turning into outro was an experience that somehow made every episode better.

If you still haven't given HxH a try, I strongly encourage you to do so. This show is basically flawless.
