Review of High School DxD

Ah High School DxD, I remember watching this as a child, I had no idea what I was in store for, looking back at it now this series is actually pretty amazing especially in how it handles "plot" and plot. There are 2 main reasons to watch this show/series. the "plot" and the plot. I'll talk about both. "Plot", being a fairly old anime, the art style isn't up to par with modern times but that hasn't stopped this series from being one of the most popular ecchi shows ever made and that's due to the "plot". The fanservice on this show is great, there's a lotof it. From the jiggle physics to the fan service OVA, High school dxd was and always will be an icon.

Now for the Plot, this is one of the few Ecchi shows where the plot isn't bad, the plot is good, there's good world building, the tension is right. It doesn't feel as though the story stagnates to just blatant fan service. Yes this is one of those demon ecchi shows but my god did they deliver on both sides of the plot scale. It isn't the best but if you take into account the sheer amount of Ecchi this show has, it really is amazing just how much plot this show has.

The combination of "Plot and plot, allows this show to stand out from other ecchi shows along with other demon anime. the fanservice and plot mesh together pretty well.

Issei maybe a horny bastard but he makes up for it due to his powers, he isn't a powerless dumbass like other shows, he knows to utilize that horny energy within.

Now obviously this show isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if you're a fan of ecchi or you just want to see a show that has the right mix of "plot" and plot then give this show and series a shot.

I do have to warn you though that the last season changes the art style to a more cartoon one
