Review of Durarara!!

This is not an anime for the faint of heart. The only disappointing factor I can pinpoint is that soo many people would turn their heads to this great anime because of the absurdly slow and not to mention boring first episode where even the bulk of the characters seem... bland. The development and background of each character is scarily intricate. You'd be surprised as to how the plot develops and how things that seem bogus and unnecessary become intertwined and key in the story. The art is not very stunning but its not hard on the eyes either. Its the only thing I'd ratemediocre in this anime.
Durarara wastes no time with anything, everything has meaning. It has a fair amount of comic relief but nothing dragged out and sometimes its even important (behind the laughs).
