Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

What would you do if one of your friends died? This anime puts that tough question into our minds and brings it out into the open. Everyone deals with grief differently and this is show very much through AnoHana. Every character deals with the grief in a different way, and each brings it's own problems and hardships along the way. Throughout the anime you are faced with each character's grief, and how they have changed after loosing a friend. The anime really hit me emotionally and i cried through most of the later episodes, whether it be for the grief of a character, their pain in pursuitsof romance, their friendships as they fall apart and come back together. This is an anime that sparks all of your emotions.

Beautiful character design and animation, the world of AnoHana is truly beautiful. Each episode is a journey and you want to follow each moment.

The only downside i found to this anime was the occasional random 'seedy' moments, they were unnecessary and just randomly were their. A bit strange for me.

But all in all this anime is truly beautiful and heart-wrenching.
