A series from my childhood, which I really loved. I rewatched it recently, only to find out that I still love this series^^ In it's core, it's a story about growing up, about maturing, learning more about the world, finding new friends and such. This is also the aspect I love most about this series: We see how Mogli grows up, gets stronger and gains the respect of his wolf comrades. Another good point are some of the characters: We got Bagheera, who's really an awesome friend Mogli got. He saves Mogli's life several times and they share a close friendship. Especially the end got another surprise in this friendship;-)

There's Lala, who first is pretty much a tsundere and kinda dislikes Mogli, but later on her attitude changes, and later another time. You can really see how she matures, too and becomes a full adult.

And there's Luri, Mogli's wolf mother, who shows a lot of affection to her kids, but can also be harsh to them when needed. She really gives this aura of a strong, disciplined and yet loving character, which is pretty cool.

Of course, not everything is the series is good. Some episodes are good, some are rather boring and useless. But still, all in all, the series was really fun. There's a lot stuff children can learn from this series and there's actually a whole story with a real end here, unlike the disney version.

If you love animals, this is a must-watch for you! ;-)
