Do you know anything about karuta? Would you like to care about it more than any sport or game you have ever seen? Then Chihayafuru is for you. I wanted a slice of life, I thought I was getting a sports anime, I ended up with a sports slice of life comedy romance anime that completely amazed me. This anime is great, I very much want a third season and while the pacing can be a bit schizophrenic the experience is still unlike anything else I have seen. This is a suspense lovers dream! Give it a go, you'll probably be pleasantly surprised. I stilllaugh when I think of the name Desktomu-kun.
