Review of High School of the Dead

High school of the dead is a anime that you have to watch a few times to get the over all story of but once you got the full story you kinda have watched it so often that you are just simply getting bored of it. I am a person that watched anime at the time when this show was airing for the Ecchi part of it but now I'm more focused on the story and animation although when I want to just stop and watch a anime that is just for the fun of it I often go to this series. Many will say thatthis a show with many not so welly timed panty shots but those I would say just have to stop and think about the fact that they are watching a anime that is in the Ecchi category and it is suppose to have many panty shots if not a nip slip every once in a while. But I still must say that some times they are unnecessary (particularly in the first episode when you see Ren get pushed to a wall do to her own broom spear do to one of the zombies) but then again this is (to my understanding) kinda aimed at teenage boys who are into that stuff. Now as I was saying like with me at the time these were the type of shows I loved Ecchi with some action but then when I started to re-watch them i started to pick up more of the story. How they are explaining things and all that but to go into that would be to precise and I'm not in the mood to do that :P.
and of course I think that the coincidence of having these characters together be a little over the top but the characters of H.O.T.D were supposedly suppost to be like this by the writer cause he found it interesting.

My recommendation is to watch it but do so while looking for as many details of what they are saying and kind of ignoring the panty shots and just think about the story in general. And mostly the romance that happens in the show between the main characters you would be surprised about how much development some characters get through these 12 eps + 1 ova
