Review of High School of the Dead

Highschool of the Dead is a thoroughly enjoyable anime series, it is good at keeping things moving in terms of story with its likeable characters and dark humour. The soundtrack is wonderfully composed ranging from ambiance to fast-paced J-Pop. In terms of animation, it is very fluid; colourful and dark and visually looks beautiful. I really did enjoy this series, however it is ruined and almost destroyed by pointless fan service; there is an entire episode which has nothing to do with their situation and pushes all of the huge-breasted females into a bathroom feeling each other up, with the male characters (only 2) loading guns. It's fairto say that this almost killed the show but I managed to see through this and found it fun.
