Review of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya
When it comes to the show I liked it, it was definitly one of the eest slice of life animes ive watched but the movie is on another level of brilliance. The one thing that I thought was missing from the show was making these characters feel like real people and thats exactly what this movie does. The movie is 2 hrs and 41 min long and sometimes it does feel like it drags just a little bit but I think its supposed to make you feel how boring the world that Kyon ends up in. The animation is fantastic and the soundtrack is greatwith more orchestra instead of the catchy music from the show. With all of that being said, there is one little problem I have and its the ending. Now the ending doesnt ruin the movie but it would have felt more satisfying if it showed more of a conclusion to the this story, it felt like it just randomly ended. other than that I HIGHLY recommend this movie but you have to watch the show before hand since there are parts where goes back to scenes from the show.
