Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

Really good and unique anime. Will always have a special place in my heart as my favorite anime of all time. Worth your time to watch. The characters all are very rememberable, I even remember a lot of side characters by name and the main characters all have incredibly moving backstories. The fights all look great, especially from the era and honestly feel right at home in the show, the explosions to finish most fights and the gradual destruction of Tokyo-3 is a nice touch, making the once metropolis you might want to live in from the earlier episodes look like a desolate wasteland inEpisode 24.
Only real flaw is the ending but End of Evangelion is a great help with understanding parts of it and there are tons of videos explaining the ending on youtube.
