Review of School Days

Wow, I really didn't expect such a crazy plot in an anime rated 5.5. After watching over 200 anime I searched for something refreshing and there it is: School Days. The reason why it picked my interest was because it is popular, has over 50 % positive recommendations and is terrible rated - quite the contradiction. I now assume it's because viewers typically want to root for the mc, but this anime literally has the most asshole protagonist I have ever seen and I love it. The protagonists insensitivity and stupidity as well as the bad ending perfectly satisfied my boringness. This animation quality is quitegood and as far as I can remember no CGI was used. The character varity was decent and the plot felt "alive", meaning that they were many elements that felt unfinished and could be continued. This isn't an anime to turn your brain on, but where you have to feel the atmosphere. Also don't take it too seriously - I made fun of the mc so many times and can only recommend to hate him.

I think it's important that you know what you're gonna watch. Don't stick with the characters too closely!
