Review of Ghost Stories
The dub, the reason why anyone pays attention to this show, is absolutely hilarious and has aged pretty well even if it is firmly grounded in mid-2000s Bush-era America. And the sense of humor is much less politically correct as jokes are slung among the main cast whose insult stereotypes are lesbian, pervert, jew, christian, and the intellectually disabled. Some fun quotes that come to mind, "Whatever, just fill the hole, hole-filler." and "I'm all alone, forgotten, like a black family in Bush America. *phone rings* And that must be FEMA, late of course." The funny quips and jabs at the quality of the showactually gave the main cast more character and personality. The rest of the show isn't totally awful, but very generic and doesn't progress much at all after the first few episodes in setting and the formula for the plot is the exact same for the run. so essentially if you're on the show's wavelength for the first episode, you can appreciate the rest of it, but know that the jokes are what make it, everything else is serviceable at best.
