First review a go-go! This Koi-ken! OVA can be summed up easily enough: Single serving ecchi goodness. The roughly hour long OVA centers around a group of girls that try to become idols and win the hearts of everyone who watches their performance. Characters seem developed enough, with pre-existing relationships between each girl in the group. The entire plot/style of this series just bleeds eyecandy. There is a pile of fanservice waiting around every corner, and many classic anime personality stereotypes are represented in the cast. I found myself grinning at the shenanigans the group gets into (almost all scenes are garnished with a mini ecchi montage), andwhen I decided to show this to a friend who enjoys more gruff/seinen stories, I totally saw him crack a few smiles.

All in all, not a bad single shot OVA to quench that moe-moe thirst we all know you have!
