Natsume Yuujinchou is not your typical 'ghost/spirit-seeing anime'... i bet that what makes it unique and at the same time, you can't get tired watching it. The story was very simple, yet it is great. Such genre is one of my favorite, it reminds me of xxxholic. Natsume is your high school boy who can see various spirits... he inherited such ability from his grandmother. At the same time, he also gets the 'book of friends' wherein the name of spirits that his grandmother 'defeated' were listed there. And his part of the charade was to bring those names back to where it truly belongs..at least. Since many spirits were after that too.
This plot of Natsume Yuujinchou is what i really like about it. And with the twist and turns it involves, i could say it surpasses any other kind of anime with the same genre. For me.
I also like the supporting characters, the way his problem gets on him, some sense of humor (at least it makes me laugh XD)...what else? The animation itself... and everything about it.
It is great, i swear... i love it.
