This review is a little biased because I just enjoyed the anime so much. Realistically this isn't a perfect 10 out of 10 but for me it was. When I watched the first episode I could not stop watching, and then I watched the 2005 remake/continuation. I enjoyed this so much I have I bought the dvd set and rewatch it quite often. Is glass mask for everyone? No. There's a weird age gap, even though they aren't really in love till they're grown its weird. There's also the fact that you lowkey watch the main character get abused because herteacher works her so hard. In some aspects its kinda horrific but so well written. I enjoyed maya, and her rivalry, I enjoyed the soundtrack, I enjoyed watching maya grow while shoving herself into work, I enjoyed everything. Thats all thats my review but you probably should not listen to it cause I enjoyed it so much to where I probably can't point out more than like 3 negatives.
