Review of Arakawa Under the Bridge

This series have a very good concept to it and it has one of the best characters imo, it reminds me alot of Gintama, the originality of each character and the depth they gave to each one of them is pretty insane !! it's the opposite of most of the anime out there, you will find the story very strong but the characters who are in it is so boring and poor written,but the case here is the complete opposite.. I believe what makes this anime so enjoyable is the characters and their personalities, they're original, funny, relatable (ye.. I know..), and you will wishthat they could make a whole show about only one character ! this is how much attached you will get to them..
and the fact that they didn't only focus on the main characters is pretty awesome.

The art, the sound and the voice actors cast are THE BEST..
but the reason that I gave it 8/10 is
since it has a "romance" category you will expect alot more about that, but for your surprise they didn't focus in romance at all.. well, there's couple of scenes but I feel like they didn't took it serious enough..
and this is my only problem with this show, I know you shouldn't expect much, it's not a shoujo or drama anime after all .. but if things were more serious when it's supposed to be it would be way better imo

and I feel like the story lack some progress to get you hooked to it..
sometimes in the middle, things will get a lil bit dull and maybe boring in the first episodes.. I think that explains why I start watching this show in 2014 and I just finished it after two years..

putting that aside, if you want a cheerful funny slice of life (kinda) anime I promise you, you will enjoy this show very much! it will gives you a different experience from all the other typical anime shows that you watched
